Former Great Bridge High School standout and current Coastal Carolina Chanticleers player, Dawson Newman will compete in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.
They begin the tournament as a number 13 seed against the 13th seeded Fairfield Stags.
The first game is on Friday, May 30 at 6 p.m.
Old Dominion baseball hosts James Madison this week for its final regular season series as both teams aim to improve their positions before postseason play begins. Special events such as Senior Day and Mother’s Day recognition are planned during home games.
