On Friday, May 16, former Atlantic Shores Christian High School standout Nick Mattfield’s current collegiate team the Lynchburg Hornets won 7-6 against the Marymount Saints in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
The game took place at James C. Fox Field at 10 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Marymount Saints in the tournament.
The Lynchburg Hornets’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 7:05 p.m. at James C. Fox Field.
